Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! We require a free, 15-minute meet-and-greet prior to scheduling your first service. This ensures Jadyn and your pet are a good match, and allows us to go over keys, routines, and specific care instructions.
We kindly ask for 24 hours notice for standard walks and visits. For overnight sitting, we require a 72-hour notice for a full refund. Cancellations made outside of these windows may be subject to a 50% fee.
Absolutely. Blue Jay Pet Care is fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates. Proof of insurance can be provided during the meet-and-greet.
Jadyn is Pet First Aid trained. In the event of an emergency, we will immediately contact you (or your emergency contact) and transport your pet to your specified vet or the nearest emergency animal hospital if required.

Terms and Conditions
1. General Provisions
Welcome to Blue Jay Pet Care. By scheduling services with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure the safety of your pets, our staff, and the community.
2. Health & Vaccinations
All pets must be current on their rabies and standard vaccinations prior to service. Proof of vaccination from a licensed veterinarian may be required. If a pet becomes ill, Blue Jay Pet Care reserves the right to seek emergency veterinary care at the owner's expense.
3. Behavioral Disclosure
Owners must fully disclose any history of aggression, biting, or extreme anxiety. We reserve the right to terminate service immediately if a pet poses a physical danger to the sitter or the public. Blue Jay Pet Care will not be held liable for injuries caused by an undisclosed behavioral issue.
4. Liability Policy
While Blue Jay Pet Care is fully insured, we are not responsible for pre-existing medical conditions, injuries caused by the pet's own actions within their home, or damage to the home not directly caused by negligence on the part of the sitter.
5. Cancellation & Payment
Payment is required at or before the time of service. See our FAQ for specific cancellation windows. Repeated late cancellations may result in a requirement to pre-pay for all future bookings non-refundably.
